Three days of film, music and community activities are on the cards for the debut OxfordOxford event.

Friday’s theme will be film, and the corn is popping in anticipation of Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland and a special ‘sing-along’ screening of Grease, as well as Dirty Dancing, Top Gun and The Goonies.

Music will be the order of the day for Saturday with:

• Robot Swans

Sunday welcomes charities, community groups and more to OxfordOxford. Amongst the first to join the event are Dancin’ Oxford and the Museum of Oxford. Also present will be local independent espresso bar Missing Bean, and G&D’s ice cream, who will be developing a special flavour just for OxfordOxford.

Ticket costs:

• Friday (film): £6.25 concessions (under 15/senior); £16.75 adult
• Saturday (music): £32.50
• Sunday (community): free (non-ticketed)
• Local resident discount and special offer: Weekend (Friday & Saturday, film and music) £43.25. A saving of £6, available to all residents of OX postcodes.
