Tribute to Duke Ellington – The Buck Clayton Legacy Band @ St John The Evangelist Church, Oxford
Led by BBC Jazz Record Requests host Alyn Shipton, directed by star German saxophonist Matthias Seuffert and featuring pianist Martin Litton, the band revisits Duke Ellington’s small band repertoire. To include such hits as ‘The Jeep Is Jumpin’’, ‘Shady Side’ and ‘Hi-Ya’. Part of SJE Arts International Piano Series 2015.
