Tom Green is beginning to make a name on the British jazz scene as a wonderful composer and performer. On Thursday, he brings a superb group to The Spin – featuring Misha Mullov-Abbado on bass, winner of the John Dankworth Prize in 2014, JJ Wheeler on drums and a posse of some of the heaviest new kids on the block.

Tom himself has won a series of accolades; he was awarded a Jerwood/Serious artist award last year, and received the John Dankworth Prize for Best Small Group in 2013. He has performed at Montreux and Montreal Jazz Festivals, worked alongside the legendary Village Vanguard Jazz Orchestra and worked with the likes of Mike Gibbs, Iain Ballamy and Gareth Lockrane.
