A double dose of a cappella! First up: Oxford’s only postgraduate a cappella group, The Beatroots. They’re finalists in this year’s Voice Festival UK community competition, and won ‘Best Arrangement’ at last year’s festival. Be prepared to enjoy a mixture of pop, rock and jazz delivered through their own imaginative and tongue-in-cheek arrangements. Meanwhile, The Ultrasounds are Oxford’s premier all-male, all-medic a cappella group. Their repertoire spans the choicest morsels of popular music from the ’60s to the present day.
