A favourite of BBC Radio 2’s Jamie Cullum and the BBC Radio 3 boffins, Sara Mitra is a music scholar from the ‘other’ university with a love of jazz and world music. She’s a captivating singer, talented composer and one time orchestral viola player – quite some credentials and these are evident in her relaxed style and inventive music. She’ll be bringing a hot London-based trio of musicians to work with for this special gig.
