Event Navigation
Billy No-Mates started playing guitar as a busker at the age of 12, in Winchester. At the age of 18 he went to Australia and busked and gigged my way around Sydney. He now plays at weddings and local gigs to support my studies.
Megan Greta Josephy: Born in 1992, Megan showed an interest in music from a young age, eager to absorb everything from the classical influences from her grandparents to the dance grooves from her mother and the reggae vibes from her dad. Aged eight, Megan started having private classical vocal training from Ruth Hollely who soon became more honorary grandparent than teacher. Around the age of 12, Megan’s step-dad started introducing her to bands such as The Cure, The Pixies, Tom Waits, The Strokes etc, and soon she had claimed his abandoned Stratocaster as she attempted to play along. By 14, Megan was having guitar lessons with Phil Fryer who would greet a grumpy Megan early every Friday morning with “There’s my rock star”. Six years later after being pushed into local public performance at open mic at the James Street Tavern, Megan has now played open mics across the south of England.
Andrew Burke: A 22 year old singer-songwriter/folk acoustic artist, born in Nuneaton and raised in Swindon, Wiltshire. His influences range from Eva Cassidy, Laura Marling, Matt Corby to Damien Rice and many more.
More artists to be confirmed. The first Acoustic Sundays event at Angel & Greyhound: chilled acoustic vibes, traditional ales, and great food, all in a relaxing environment.
