Maracutaya is a seasoned Oxford-based four-piece band consisting of three natives of Brazil: Guga Volpato on drums, William Volpato on vocals, guitar and harmonicas, and Everton Barbato on bass, give the band a very special flavour. They are joined by Nick Gibson, an English Saxophonist and guitarist, and together they play a mixture of predominantly 70s Brazilian bossa, blues and funk with their own special style.
