Latin Affinity is one of the most exciting latin-jazz groups in the country and features one of the world’s great latin percussionists, Roberto Pla.

The band is led by bass virtuoso Dave Jones – a regular with the Ronnie Scotts Soul/Jazz Orchestra and Jacqui Dankworth’s bassist of the moment. The band also features the cream of London’s jazz/latin/session players – Simon Pearson is one of the heaviest drummers on the jazz scene, Tony Woods is respected as one of the most gifted sax players of his generation, Alison Bentley remains one of the finest jazz vocalists around and award winning John Turville on piano completes this sensational line-up. A heady mix of Cuban classics, Brazilian standards and wonderfully engaging latin/jazz originals by the bandleader.
