FLEKD create a beguiling soundscape – a blend of contemporary jazz with ‘world folk’ inflections – gorgeous, original stuff and a breath of fresh jazzy air. FLEKD are an egalitarian lot with no particular leader and compositions are a group-led affair. The ensemble comprises Jayne South (vocals/flute/p-accordion), Rebecca Nash (piano), Moss Freed (guitar), Rob Patterson (bass) and Matt Fisher (drums).
