Brickwork Lizards effortlessly fuse the Arabic classical talents of singer and oud player, Tarik Beshir with a repertoire that takes in rap, jazz/blues, neo classical and country.

Their recordings evoke the fiery spirit of Eastern Europe, sultry nights on the Arabian sea and the Speakeasy bars of prohibition-era America but it’s in their incendiary live performances that the group’s powerful dynamics come to the fore, served up by a troupe of inspired, talented musicians. Their music has passion and excitement that will stir the soul and send shivers down the spine.

Their album Zaman is out now and the band are in the process of recording their next album for release in early 2015.
