Beethoven: ‘Appassionata’ – Victor Sangiorgio, piano @ St John The Evangelist Church, Oxford
A pupil of some of the great Italian teachers of the C20 and a champion of lesser-known works, Victor Sangiorgio is praised for his “poetic playing” and “delicate but crystalline tone colours”.
