Hey, you! Are you good with words or photographic equipment? MusicInOxford.co.uk is expanding its pool of contributors, and is on the hunt for additional gig and release reviewers, as well as anybody who can photographically document the gig and music scene in Oxford. It’s not paid work, but it’s a lot of fun and can often mean free stuff – and everybody likes free stuff, right? Free entry to gigs, free or advance access to new releases by local musicians, and free gratitude from the big ol’ world of readers of the website out there in Internetland.
If you’d like to contribute reviews, you’ll need to be good, and the kind of person that isn’t going to go postal if your carefully-crafted review gets a bit of snipping and sub-editing before appearing online. It’s sometimes a necessary evil.
If you’d like to contribute photographs, you’ll need to be able to provide ten or more good pics from an event or happening that you attend. We wouldn’t expect exclusive rights on the pics – or indeed on reviews – but ideally MusicInOxford.co.uk wouldn’t be carrying your work alongside fifty billion other websites!
Everyone will, of course, be credited for their work. Interested? Then get over to our contact page and drop Simon a message. Looking forward to working with you, new team members!
