New DJ/dance production website launches with competition

To celebrate its launch, new website streetdancemixes.com – based in Cassington – is looking for the creative and original new dance tracks.

To enter, all music producers and DJs have to do is upload at least one dance mix (of more than 1.5 minutes and less than 3 minutes long), with at least three changes of music in the mix, to the website.

The best ‘Street Dance Mixes of 2015′ can win prizes, with studio gear up for grabs every three months. The first prize will be AKG 271 Mk II professional headphones.

The website has a simple objective: to enable DJs to upload their tracks and market them to street dance groups, teachers and choreographers. In turn, choreographers and dance teachers will be able to purchase and download professional quality music in just a few seconds.

Producers and DJs can upload their music, set the amount they want to sell it for, and take payments. SDM will take care of all relevant license, ensuring legal compliance for the music sold. Dance choreographers and teachers will be able to search the site for music by artist, track and genre. They can listen, at reduced bit rate, to try before they buy, so they know what they are getting. Downloading a mix will take seconds.

To find out more and upload tracks, visit the website.
