Released today is The Tokyo EP, the debut release by Oxford newcomers Maiians, and the second release on local imprint Idiot King Recordings.

It’s a three-tracker: ‘Lemon’ is an analogue-tinged slice of IDM, chunky in both groove and beat; ‘Perennial Data’ a lower-register mood-piece that builds into a rolling stomp; ‘One Of Each’ a sonic night-time wander through modern streets.
