If we lived in the 1970s, the weekly BBC Introducing in Oxford show could arrive in the post, after being carefully packaged up and mailed out to every keen listener in the ‘shire. It could be in the form of a reel-to-reel tape, which listeners could carefully place onto their chunky-buttoned tape machine in order to listen on a pair of comically-oversized headphones, whilst eating Spangles and gazing at the brown and yellow wallpaper listlessly. However; we don’t live in the 1970s. And anyway, they had radios in 1970s.
