Oxford Contemporary Music

Ice Music @ North Wall Arts Centre, Oxford, 05/11/2011

How cool is this? It’s literally very very cool indeed, as it’s Ice Music, Terje Isungset’s presentation of sounds and songs using instruments carved out of ice. It was an Oxford Contemporary Music event that took place recently at the North Wall Arts Centre. Pretty magical, and magically pretty. More music made from the elements, please!

The photographs were taken by Vince Mo, who has many more available on his website.

Photographer’s dream, that gig!  Nice shots, Vinnie.  (You can see me in one of them, which is probably reason enough to look).

Cheers Rich. Quite a cool venue, and artist to shoot. Disappointed the ice guitar/harp didn’t get brought out. And slight more disappointed the set didn’t end with a ‘The Who’ style smash up. – but maybe that’s asking too much..
