DESCRIPTION:The Lanner Quartet believes that everybody likes great music but classical performances need to be reformed in order to attract the public as they once did. So this ensemble\, a cultural start-up venture\, was brought to life in the summer of 2012 with a particular aim: to bring to the cultural world a string-quartet radically different in its style\, operation\, programme and musical approach from traditional quartets.\nThey call their self-directed performances ‘Musical Treats’. These are free of charge\, and welcome the audience with music of the highest standard as well as with gastronomic delicacies.
