All tickets purchased for that date remain valid. \nAhead of taking over Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl for the first ever Summer In The City\, James have announced a warm-up show at Oxford O2 Academy on Thursday 10 July.\nJames return on 2 June with La Petite Mort\, their first new full-length album in six years. Highlights include the mighty\, forthcoming single ‘Moving On’\, the 6Music-playlisted taster ‘Frozen Britain’\, and ‘Curse Curse’. The album is produced by Max Dingel (Killers\, Muse\, White Lies) and written\, as ever\, by the band with lyrics by Tim Booth.\nSince forming in 1982\, James are\, without doubt\, one of Britain’s most influential bands. Their classic hits include ‘Sit Down’\, ‘She’s A Star’\, ‘Laid’ and ‘Getting Away With It (All Messed Up)’ amongst their 20 top 40 UK singles.
