DESCRIPTION:Mark Armstrong is one of the leading jazz/latin trumpet players in the UK; in addition to a fiendishly busy gig/touring schedule\, he finds time to be Professor of Trumpet at the Royal College of Music and Music Director of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra - neither of which is terribly surprising when you hear him play.\nAs a jazz musician\, he was a regular player with the late great Stan Tracey\, and has also been featured soloist in Clarke Tracey's quartet over the years.
