DESCRIPTION:Susanna Starling sings her own original material plus unique interpretations of English folk and vintage jazz/cabaret\, accompanied by nothing but her upright double bass (and\, occasionally\, by beatboxer Norpwing).\nEx- of East Oxford cabaret band Inflatable Buddha\, bassist with silent film band The Mighty Wurlitzer and once compere of the Isis Farmhouse's Queen of Clubs Cabaret. Her most recent collaboration is with the DellyWellyBoot Band\, in-house quartet of White Horse Live\, Stonesfield's famous monthly folk club.\nJoining her on the night are\, DWBB's other members\, Tom Dyson (mandolinist/pianist/vocalist)\, Judith Henderson (violinist/vocalist) and Nick Hooper (guitarist/multi-instrumentalist/vocalist). Together they have supported Martin Carthy and entertained the crowds at a Combe Mill steam day and at Stonesfield Beer Festival with members of Gifford's Circus band.
