DESCRIPTION:Riot Jazz Brass Band are Manchester's brass funksters\, fresh from rocking main stages at summer festivals to thousands. In their words “a twisted mix of funk\, soul\, hip-hop and aggressive jazz... a nine-piece lovin' aggro jazz brass ensemble fronted by MC Chunky.” Captained by Nick Walters (MA in jazz trumpet) the brass-wielding sentinels of good times have since 2008 infected earholes and dancefloors far and wide\, anchored in the New Orleans swamplands also inhabited by young innovatives Hot 8 and Youngblood Brass band. Their debut LP Sousamaphone was released this August.
