DESCRIPTION:During the 1990s The Hoax toured\, building a strong loyal following\, throughout the UK\, Europe and USA. This was a band that excited audiences as they played the blues with passion\, high-octane performances and musicianship of the highest calibre as they collectively melded into a distinctive sound. They are an awesome live act that delivered great studio recordings\, among them the 1998 release Humdinger - then a year later they disbanded. This left everyone wanting more as the band members Hugh Coltman\, Jesse Davey\, Robin Davey\, Jon Amor and Mark Barrett pursued their own projects.
