DESCRIPTION:Wood Festival warm-up show.\nWallingford's Band Of Hope grew out of a local open mic night\, the Acoustic Ballroom\, bringing together an assortment of seasoned musicians. Individually they've played with the likes of Mew\, Danny & The Champs\, Rout\, Ben Marwood\, Amy Winehouse and Sadie & The Hotheads. They are currently recording their debut album on each other's kitchen tables when time permits\, but can be heard as the backing band on the latest LP from Neil Halstead\, Palindrome Hunches.\nLike a folk-pop hydra\, The Oh So Many were born on a brindling day in April 2012 of a hangover and a critical mass of interested musicians.
