They can kick out the rock'n'roll whilst still offering a pretty tidy tune\, and they have been likened to a cross between Placebo and Skunk Anansie.\nGrant Sharkey: Grant is a good friend of GTI\, having played with his Zappafied smutfunk outfit Toupe to great acclaim. Now he’s somewhat implausibly touring the country with a double bass\, singing songs that alternate between touching and hilarious\, and maybe arsing about just a little bit.\nRag Doll: Any friend fo Klub Kakofanney and Wittstock is a friend of ours\, but that’s not the reason we booked this lovely\, relaxed folk act\, we just rather liked the songs. Expect breezy\, but sophisticated semi-acoustic melodies of the sort that might prick up Joe Boyd’s dainty ears\, and it’s not a billion million miles away from something Eddi Reader might produce if she were in a particularly cuddly mood.\nTickets available from www.wegottickets.com/event/198985
