Hailing from Oxford and routed in traditional English music, James Bell plays guitar and sings – sometimes solo and sometimes with his band The Half Moon All Stars (a 12 piece band made up from folk singers who frequent the Half Moon pub on St Clements). He also plays melodeon for ‘apocalyptic border’ Morris side Armaleggan, and runs a monthly folk session at the Isis Farmhouse, which always starts with traditional tunes and ends in awful drunken pop karaoke.

And he owns more instruments than he can ever learn to play.

Although this is not a ticketed event, the organisers strongly advise phoning to reserve a seat.
