Heidi Talbot is an award-winning folk singer from Co. Kildare. Formerly she sang with Irish-American folk group Cherish the Ladies, after moving to New York at the age of 18. She began singing in the church choir run by her mother and at sixteen, she enrolled at Dublin’s Bel Canto singing school.

Her solo career has been superb, and she’s also featured as a guest on albums by Radiohead drummer Philip Selway and Eddie Reader, amongst others.

Angels Without Wings is Heidi’s new album of original songs – recorded with an array of special guests including Mark Knopfler, King Creosote and Julie Fowlis – taking their inspiration from the foundations of folk.
